      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New York, NY&lt;/strong&gt; – As the Census Bureau prepares to send Census takers knocking on doors in communities across the country, a new Ipsos-Telemundo telephone poll shows that Hispanics share similar attitudes toward participating in the Census as the general population.       <title>Economic Crisis Makes Most Hispanics Even More Inclined to Provide Financial Protection for Their Family </title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New York, NY&lt;/strong&gt; –The economic crisis has made Hispanics even more eager to provide financial protection for their family, according to a new Ipsos Public Affairs telephone poll of 500 Hispanic adults conducted on behalf of New York Life.  Three quarters (77%) of the 500 Hispanics surveyed agree that the economic crisis has increased their desire to provide financial protection for their family.       <title>Hispanics Are More Optimistic About the U.S. Economy than the General Population </title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New York, NY&lt;/strong&gt; – According to the newest Ipsos-Telemundo telephone poll, nearly four out of five Hispanics feel that the economy has stabilized or that it has already started to improve. Among 500 adult Hispanics living in the United States, 14% say that that the U.S. economy has turned the corner on the economic crisis and 63% say that the economy hasn’t yet begun to improve, but that it has stabilized.       <title>With the Census in Progress, the Overall Perception of Importance and Intent to Participate Has Grown – Especially Among Hispanics </title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New York, NY&lt;/strong&gt; – In a new Ipsos-Telemundo telephone poll conducted through the month of March, 95% of the 500 Hispanics residing in the United States interviewed said that it is important for everyone living in the U.S. to be counted in the 2010 census.  This represents a seven point increase from results released in January (88%).       <title>Presidential Approval Slips Below 50% As Ratings of Obama’s Handling of Various Issues Fall Across the Board</title>
